K.B. Goddard

K. B. Goddard is from Derbyshire, England. She is a former Open University student with a life long love of mythology and old ghost stories. She has released several collections of Victorian-Inspired, supernatural fiction. Strongly influenced by the subtlety and elegance of classic ghost stories, she likes to craft tales that focus on the mysterious and wondrous aspects of the genre.

Her first novella, The Girl With The Roses: A Tale From The Haunted Auctions, came out in 2017, and her latest collection, Tales Of The Macabre And The Supernatural, came out in 2019. Her work has featured on both The Lift and The Wicked Library podcasts as well as in The Lift's first written anthology.

The episode of the Wicked Library featuring her story "Shadows" won the 2017 Parsec Award for Best Speculative Fiction Story: Small Cast (Short Form). She also penned the opening episode of season 2 of The Lift podcast ""The Lost Library"", Which was a finalist in the same category.

She has also contributed to Shadows at the Door and The Spooky Isles.
